♥ A BIG Hello! ♥

Hello there! I'm {finally} back! First, let me say Thank You so much for all of the condolences, cards, emails and messages I received for my mom's passing. It definitely helped get me through the worst and hardest time of my life. I still miss her more than anything and the pain is still there and probably always will be but I know she is in a wonderful place now and in no more pain. Second, I would like to give a HUGE Thank you to Heidi, Steph, Lols, the fabulous DT and everyone at Simon Says Stamp for being so lovely, patient and supportive to me all these months. You all are like an extended family to me and I will never forgot all you've done to help me get through this. You all are the BEST! {mwah} Now let's get back to work and this week's Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! :)

This week's Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is all about PINK! "Think Pink" is this weeks theme! Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we want to see your pink cards! And remember if you are due for a mammogram, please get it done! It just may save your life!

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Pink and Main! I am using the Hello Friend Clear Stamp Set. Love this fun and versatile set. Ink is Jet Black by StazOn.

The lovely papers are from the KaiserCraft Cottage Rose 6.5 x 6.5 Paper Pad.

I also used some May Arts Natural Twine, KaiserCraft String Pearls, Heart Doilies and a Prima Rose.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

Do you use Instagram ?  If so, please add #ssswchallenge to your challenge entry uploads so we can see them on there too.

I hope you all have a wonderful day blessed by God!

hugs...

Hello, Melissa,

I am so thankful to hear that you feel up to blogging. I read the post about your loss over the summer and prayed for you at the time. I am sorry for you pain, but trust God to bring you the love and comfort you need.

Your card is wonderful. I plan to pin and CASE it. Thanks for the inspiration!

Welcome back into the crafting world, Melissa. I know for sure that your Mom would want you get busy doing ALL the things you love, including crafting. It's nice to see that you kept it simple for your first card back. You'll ease right back in, and it will start to feel more comfortable again. I can't believe it's already been two years since my sweet sister, Audra, passed away from brain cancer. And you're correct, the pain NEVER goes away. I miss her every single day, and always will. But art is a way of expressing my love for her, and you will find that in your art as well.
Welcome back,
Karen
